01What it is
The schedule draws the tasks of the chosen project on a chart: one column is one day, and a bar runs from the start to the end of the task. The window begins on Monday of the current week.
A conflict always points at two entered rows that clash: a broken dependency, one person in two places, a team assigned elsewhere or a task ending after the job deadline.
A milestone is a date the rest of the plan depends on, for example “installations run”. It has no duration and no assignee.
- CHART
- A bar per task, a diamond per milestone.
- CONFLICTS
- Dependency, same person, team elsewhere, past the deadline.
- UNDATED
- Tasks without a date sit under the chart.
02What it is for
A plan in weeks
A window of 4 to 26 weeks for one project.
A conflict before it happens
One person on two tasks at once shows up straight away.
The team where it is needed
A conflict when the team works on another project that day.
The job deadline
A task ending after the job deadline is flagged.
03Main options
The schedule screen is the chart, the conflict band and the list of milestones.
What stands when
Tiles: tasks in window, conflicts, milestones, undated.
- Choice of project and window: 4, 8, 12 or 26 weeks
- A bar from start to end of a task, a diamond on the milestone day
- Undated tasks under the chart

What clashes
Every conflict points at two entered rows. No guessing.
- Dependency: the task sits earlier than the task it waits for allows
- The same person, or the team on another project the same day
- Past the deadline: the task ends after the job deadline

Dates the rest depends on
A milestone belongs to a job and has a planned date.
- Job, name, planned date and order
- States: Planned, In progress, Reached, Moved, Cancelled
- A reached milestone cannot be deleted

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Projects › Schedule.
- STEP 2Choose the project and the window, for example 8 weeks.
- STEP 3Read the conflict band above the chart. Each row says which task clashes and why.
- STEP 4Correct the date or the assignee in the task and return to the schedule.
- STEP 1On the schedule choose New milestone.
- STEP 2Choose the job, enter a name, for example “Skim coat finished”, and the planned date.
- STEP 3When the milestone is reached, change its state to Reached.
- STEP 1Undated tasks are listed under the chart.
- STEP 2Open the task and set its start and duration. The task then appears on the chart.
