01What it is
The report compares today's stock with consumption on jobs in the chosen date range. Stock is a snapshot as of today and the range does not change it; consumption only covers the chosen period.
Days of stock is the stock divided by the average daily consumption. Dead stock is an active material that has stock but did not go to a single job in the chosen range. A longer range therefore gives less dead stock.
People with the finance permission see values in money, everyone else sees item counts. The report is an extended mode item and belongs to the Warehouse and logistics module; without the module the data stays visible.

- How long the stock lasts at the current rate of consumption.
- DEAD STOCK

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Modules › Reports › Stock rotation, Dead stock tab.
- STEP 2Set the range to 12 months to see the materials that really stand still.
- STEP 3Decide what to use on the next jobs and what not to order again.

- STEP 2Items flagged min. have stock at the minimum or below.
- STEP 3Order the missing materials in Modules › Materials › Orders.
- STEP 1Choose the location in the filter.
- STEP 2Stock, minimum and consumption are recalculated for that warehouse.
