01What it is
A customer counts in the report when they have a job created in the chosen range, excluding cancelled ones. New customers are those added in the range, and returning customers are those with more than one job in it.
Revenue is counted the same way as in the profitability report: the actual sale price, failing that the planned price or the total of the job items.
The region is derived from the postcode on the customer record, with no external services. A few districts on a regional border may fall into the neighbouring region, so this is a picture for sales decisions, not for accounting.
The report belongs to the Advanced finance module.
