01What it is
A goods issue takes material off stock when it leaves for a recipient: a customer from the files or someone outside them. A transfer takes material off the source store and adds it to the target store.
A document starts as a draft. Until it is settled you edit the items and details without touching stock. A draft can be deleted.
A settled document changes the stores' stock and can no longer be edited or deleted. A free-text item, with no product from stock, does not change stock.
