01What it is
A quote has a name, a customer, a preparation date, a valid-until date and a planned completion time in working days. A description of what is to be done is required. You add material items and labour after saving, on the quote card.
A quote moves through statuses: Draft, Sent, Accepted or Rejected, Expired and Converted to job. When the customer accepts the quote through an approval link, its status changes by itself.
A quote reserves nothing, neither people nor materials from the store. Only a job created from the quote does that.
