01What it is
An approval is a request for the customer's written consent. It concerns a job, a quote or a scope change and has a type: Quote, Scope change, Protocol or Other. Sending a handover protocol for confirmation also creates an approval.
You choose the recipient from the customer's contacts in your records. When the customer has consented to job messages, they receive an e-mail with the link. They open the request with their e-mail address and choose I accept or I reject, with a comment.
The status changes by itself: Pending, then Accepted or Rejected. After the expiry date the request becomes Expired. You can also invalidate a pending request by hand.
- RECIPIENT
- Only an address from the customer's contacts in your records.
- LINK
- Shown once, straight after the request is created.
- ONE REQUEST
- At most one pending approval per item at a time.
02What it is for
Consent in writing

Extra work without disputes
The customer accepts a scope change with its amount before you start.
Old prices do not come back
After the expiry date the customer cannot accept an outdated price.

03Main options
