01What it is
Exchange rates is a table of foreign currency rates against the company currency. A rate tells you how much of the company currency one unit of the foreign currency costs.
When the company currency is the Polish zloty, rates come from table A of the National Bank of Poland. With any other company currency the application uses the European Central Bank reference rates. You can also choose the source yourself in the company settings.
The item sits in the Settings menu and is visible to people with the finance permission.
- OFFICIAL SOURCE

02What it is for
Materials from abroad
A material order line can be in a foreign currency, and the amount is converted at the rate from the table.
See what gets dearer
The rate chart shows whether a material bought abroad is getting dearer because of the currency.
Always a fresh rate
The application fetches rates by itself when you open the screen, no more often than every 20 hours.
Works offline
If a fetch fails, the last known rates stay and the screen says so.
03Main options
The screen has four parts: tiles with the currency settings, the rate table, the amount converter and the rate over time chart.
Currency, source and last refresh
The tiles at the top show what the rates are counted against and how current they are.

- Rate source: NBP or ECB
- Date of the last refresh, or a note that rates have not been fetched yet
- Number of enabled foreign currencies

Any amount in the company currency
The Amount to convert field converts the amount you type for every currency in the table.
- An amount of 1 by default, which is the bare rate
- The result in the Conversion column
- Handy with a quote from a supplier abroad
