01What it is
Company is the main configuration of the application: the types of work you carry out, the scope of the menu, quote validity, hourly rates, the exchange rate source and how prices are shown to clients.
Country and base currency are set at registration and are read only. Changes are saved by people with Configuration: edit, and every save goes to the activity log.

Simple to start
Simple mode hides equipment, servicing, advanced stock and analytics.
Your types of work
From demolition to fit-out, shown on jobs and in filters.
A fixed rate
Rate bands suggest the labour price in quotes.
Quote validity
A new quote takes its validity date from this setting.

The screen has two tabs: Services and rates, and Region and currency.

- Extended mode: equipment and tools, equipment servicing, advanced stock, analytics
- Quote validity in days (14 by default)
Three rate bands
The band is chosen when hours are entered, not assigned to a person.
- Base: standard work
- Specialist: work requiring qualifications
- Expert: expertise and supervision
- For each band the hourly cost (with access to finance), retail price and quoted price
- External work has no rate; its amount is entered on the job
Currency, exchange rates and prices
Country and currency from registration and the settings that follow from them.
- Company country and base currency, read only
- Exchange rate source: automatically by base currency, NBP or ECB
- I quote prices as: gross or net (shown next to amounts the customer sees)
04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Settings › Company, the Services and rates tab.
- STEP 2Tick extended mode and save.
- STEP 3The menu then shows, among others, equipment and tools, equipment servicing, advanced stock and analytics.
- STEP 1In the Services and rates tab, go to the Hourly rates table.
- STEP 2For the base, specialist and expert bands enter the retail price and the quoted price, and with access to finance also the hourly cost.
- STEP 3Save. The rates suggest the labour price in quotes.
- STEP 1Open the Region and currency tab.
- STEP 2In I quote prices as, choose gross or net and save the region settings.
