01What it is
Categories and groups are a two-level classification: a category holds groups. Every area of the application has its own tree.
The main areas are: jobs and quotes, the materials catalogue, the service catalogue, stock and consumables, tools and equipment, suppliers, and payments and liabilities.
Categories and groups are not deleted, only archived. Switching one off does not change records that already have it, and forms offer only active categories.
