01What it is
A checklist template is a named list of points to tick off, assigned to a type of work or to any. Active templates are offered on the task card, in the Load from template field.
Loading adds the template points to the task checklist as required and skips those already on it. Changing or deleting a template later does not change lists that already exist.
A new company starts with two templates: Room handover and Bathroom before tiling. You can edit them or delete them.
- COMPANY STANDARD
- The same check whoever runs the task.
- BY TYPE OF WORK
- One list before tiling, another before a room handover.
- A COPY IN THE TASK
- Changing a template does not change old lists.
02What it is for
Fewer callbacks
A fixed list of points before the client sees the room.
A new person knows what to check
The template teaches the company standard without explaining it to everyone again.
A record of the check
Ticked points stay on the task.
03Main options
Templates are a list and the template form.
Templates and their status
Name with description, type of work, number of points and status: active or disabled.
- Tiles: number of templates and of active ones
- Edit, disable or enable, delete
- A deleted template stays as a copy in the deleted records log

Name, type of work and points
A name and at least one point are required.
- Name up to 160 characters, unique in the company
- Description up to 500 characters
- Type of work from the company settings, or Any
- Points: one per line, in the order they are ticked off, each up to 180 characters

04Tasks step by step
- STEP 1Open Settings › Checklist templates and click New template.
- STEP 2Enter a name, choose the type of work, for example tiling and waterproofing, and type the points, each on its own line.
- STEP 3Save. The template is then offered on task cards.
- STEP 1Open the task card from Modules › Projects › Tasks.
- STEP 2In the Load from template field choose a template. Templates with the task's type of work are at the top.
- STEP 3Click Load. The points are added to the task checklist without repeats.
- STEP 1Disable the template in the list. It disappears from the task card choice, and lists already created from it stay unchanged.
